VICTORY GENERATION

A NETWORK OF FAITH-BASED OUT-OF-SCHOOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS

We're On a  Mission

Victory Generation (VG) directly aids out-of-school programs dedicated to nurturing, strengthening, and enhancing the social, emotional, and cognitive development of Boston's youth aged 5 – 12. As an intermediary, we support our affiliated programs by enhancing their organizational and programmatic capabilities. Our assistance includes networking, financial aid, professional development workshops, and technical guidance.

Our mission is to empower and strengthen out-of-school program leaders and their staff who serve as role models and the front-line to the children and families we wish to serve. In addition to building impactful and qualifiable programs for students, we also provide workshops and training to empower parents in advocating for their children and fostering positive school relationships.

We structure programs in 1 of 2 ways...

 01

Exempt

An exempt program structure allows for child care services to operate without licensing requirements under specific conditions outlined by the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC). Programs seeking exemption must meet criteria such as providing care on a non-regular basis, offering occasional care with limited hours and days, or operating in conjunction with religious services. Each exemption category has distinct guidelines and requirements that programs must adhere to, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in their care while maintaining compliance with state regulations.

 02

Government -Licsensed

Licensed programs offer early education and care services for young children in community-based settings outside the home. These programs, which include preschools, before/after school, and summer programs, are licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC). They provide a safe and nurturing environment, with trained administrators and educators who are certified in First Aid and CPR, possess knowledge of child development and curriculum implementation, and maintain appropriate educator-to-child ratios. EEC ensures compliance with health, safety, supervision, and training standards to support children's healthy development and well-being.
